O R5010 é compatível com a Release 16 do 3GPP e é direcionado para as seguintes aplicações:
Banda Larga Primária – Os operadores de redes celulares agora podem oferecer tarifas ilimitadas de 5G a preços muito razoáveis. Para muitos, a oportunidade de dispensar os cabos e utilizar uma conexão de Internet sem fio pode ser favorável tanto técnica quanto comercialmente.
SD-WAN – Embora muitos dispositivos contem com opções de conectividade celular integradas, o R5010 pode fornecer uma forma de baixo custo para adicionar uma rota de backup 5G e, devido à sua capacidade de ser instalado externamente ao dispositivo, tem maiores chances de captar um bom sinal 5G.
RCMS é o serviço gratuito de monitoramento de roteadores da Robustel que é totalmente compatível com o R5010. Trata-se de um software extremamente refinado, hospedado no MS Azure e disponível como uma instância de hospedagem privada.
